I want to sow this word seed into your life and pray that this will produce a harvest in your life and the life of your family. Money has a purpose in the mind of God and below (thanks to my brother Dr. Kenneth Ulmer) are the thoughts that I hope you sow into your spirit.

"The Purpose of Money as It Is Related to the Kingdom”

To Motivate Christian Unity – God uses money as a way to motivate Christian unity. As we use money to bless others, we are joined together in a common goal, which encourages and promotes unity within the Body of Christ.
As a result of unity, those who have much will share with those who have little.
To Manifest God’s Power – We are told in Deuteronomy, “Deu 8:18  But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.”
That verse stands as a reminder that whatever you make in the form of income, you make because God gave you the ability to do so.
To Manifest God’s Goodness – Proverbs reminds us to, “Pro 3:5  Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
When we trust the Lord and acknowledge that He is our God, He directs, leads and guides us. He doesn’t have to – He’s not obligated to do this.
But in His goodness, because He is a good God, He promise to direct our paths. And the truth is, as difficult as we can be, God loves providing for us, caring for us, loving us and offering us hope – and a process for financial security!
To Maintain Faithfulness – God uses money as a blessing to maintain our faithfulness. He promises to meet our needs and He gives us the means to do so. He says, “Here’s the provision, here’s your needs being met. I’ve done what I said I would do. I performed My work.”
In this way, money is a means by which God demonstrated His own faithfulness to us – He uses it to show what a faithful God He is. When He has done His part, he watches to see if we’ll remain faithful to Him.
To Mature the Saints – As we learn His process and trust God to meet our financial needs, we grow in wisdom and in spiritual maturity. This maturing process is progressive: As God meets our needs, we learn to trust Him more; and as we discover that we can trust Him more, we tend to step out in even more faith and obey Him even more.

To Minister to the World – Ministry and outreaches cost money. That’s just the way things work in this world. If we’re going to lead people to the Lord, we need the funding to do so. God gives us the ability to gain money in order to minister to the world.
