New Life Fellowship will start a new ministry to our church worship, and we are excited to share and invite you to come and participate with us. On December 21, 2011 (Wednesday) 7pm, we will start our Intercessory Prayer Ministry. On the fourth Wednesday of every month will be Intercessory Prayer Ministry (unless otherwise posted). We sense the call of God to intercede and labor in prayer. We are living in the last days and perilous times are here (2 Timothy 3:1-5). Many have fallen from the Christian Faith of sound biblical doctrine. Front line ministries are closing down, and people are hurting, loss, and confused. Still others are bound by drugs, witchcraft, and misfortune. People don't know who to trust or who to believe in. They don't know what to do or where to go for help. The Bible says in the words of Jesus Christ (Matthew 24:8), "these are the beginning of sorrows." These are the days that Christianity should be at its best. Our light ought to be bright, our lives filled with God's love, our walk centered in the heart of God's will filled with the Holy Spirit, and our prayer life fervent and accurately based on the word and will of God. This is the time to pray. Jesus Christ said, "...men ought always to pray and not faint" (Luke 18:1). Apostle Paul says, "pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Apostle Paul also encourages his son in the ministry, Timothy "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men" (1 Timothy 2:1). I am persuaded by Philippians 4:6 (GW), "Never worry about anything. But in every situation let God know what you need in prayers and requests while giving thanks." If we pray and labor in the will of God, He will answer. Come and join us on December 21, 7pm at 1345 Ocean Ave. San Francisco, CA as we intercede and labor in prayer for the needs of people everywhere. We are believing God for impossibilities to become possible. It does not matter what your denomination or ethnic background is, lets pray to our Heavenly Father who can do anything but fail (AMEN). |
